About the Opportunity:
  • The Manufacturing Engineer - CNC supports the development, automation, cost optimization, and continuous improvement within our CNC mill-turn, CNC grinding, and secondary operations.
  • Aid in identifying, specifying, and installing new equipment within the facility.
  • Provide basic manufacturing engineering support to the operational team as directed.
  • Help maintain data system integrity by assisting with tasks such as change orders, non-conformance tracking, and system routing updates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that support goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost Performance.

What You'll Do:
  • Help with the definition, setup, and preparation of job orders and manufacturing tooling as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and vendors to gather information, understand requirements, and assist in improving production techniques.
  • Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical specifications for manufacturing equipment.
  • Help document designs, including creating drawings, specifications, and materials lists.
  • Participate in training sessions on process, procedures, and documentation to help build and maintain workforce skills within assigned manufacturing areas.
  • Maintain punctuality, work cooperatively in a team, and contribute positively to group efforts.
  • Respectfully takes direction from [supervisor/ manager] and other duties as assigned.
  • This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, machining, assembly, or operations environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in Kaizen, 6S, Lean Manufacturing.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mechanical or Manufacturing.
  • Industry experience.
  • Experience with CNC equipment - Mill-turn and OD Grinding.
  • Good has analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Project, SolidWorks.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Encompix beneficial).
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Korean language skills.

  • Repetitive Motions: Performs repetitive actions occasionally (20-30% of the time), such as typing or adjusting equipment, requiring sustained focus but minimal stamina compared to manual labor roles.
  • Other Environmental Factors: Frequently exposed to moderate noise levels (machinery, production environments) and occasionally to contaminants or hazardous equipment (20-30% of the time); may wear protective equipment (safety glasses, hard hats, or hearing protection) when on the shop floor (30-50% of the time); works in both office and manufacturing settings with constant interaction with others.
