Position Description
Lincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part-time instructors for the Certified Nursing Assistant Program at our main campus in Springfield and our locations in Taylorville and Jacksonville. There will be classroom and clinical instruction.
As an Adjunct Faculty member at LLCC, you will receive one paid absence per class, per semester; free access to the LLCC Fitness Center (during available hours); a travel stipend if commuting more than twenty miles to campus; and a tuition waiver benefit for adjunct faculty and their dependents under the age of 22. Adjuncts with qualifying assignments also participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS). To learn more about all adjunct benefits, please visit our website. Position Requirements
Applicants need a current Illinois license as a registered nurse, a current Healthcare Provider CPR card and must have either a Provisional Vocational Teaching Certificate plus Evaluator Certificate OR have completed the CNA Instructor/Train the Trainer Course. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
