SUMMARY:


ย 

The Clinical Practice Specialist RN supports and promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization and aligns nursing initiatives to Grady Health System's overall strategy. Directs and coordinates the development and approval of nursing and patient care policies.ย  Facilitates communication channels between patient care departments.ย  Serves as Chapter Coordinator for the Provision of Care section of the Joint Commission Standards.ย  Coordinates GHS preparation for Shared Governance and specifically the Professional Practice Council and supporting Division Councils.ย  Facilitates direction and administrative support to the Clinical Education Program.ย  Facilitates positive change utilizing principles of change and organizational theory. ย This role will support the CLABSI/VTE (central line infections and ventilator associated events).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Five (5) or more years experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Eligible to work in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
