An established hospice is seeking an experienced Clinical Director, RN to lead an amazing team of clinicians.

Ideal candidate for the Clinical Director position is clinically strong in hospice care, an effective team leader, and possesses a solid knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Must be a registered nurse.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.
  • Develops, implements and evaluates the orientation program for new organization personnel.
  • Conduct annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.
  • Overseas the maintenance of patent clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purpose of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
  • Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
  • Registered Nurse with a current state license to practice as a professional nurse in the state the office is located.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a nurse, including 1 year of full time experience in providing direct patient care in a hospice, home health or oncology setting, and 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice or home health care preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of terminal care with expertise in crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, clinical bedside nursing, and family counseling.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute a supportive, sensitive approach to staff and patient/family needs.
  • Possess and maintains current CPR certification if required by state.


Salary $105,000 - $110,000 plus bonus
