Job description

The Clinical Director is a high-level position that represents one leg of the leadership team. The position is responsible for fostering agency culture consistent with CYN's mission, vision, and values, as well as oversight of all clinical functions including administrative, supervisory, training, and coordination aspects of the therapeutic team. In addition, the Clinical Director will assist in the planning, delivery, integrity and administration of specified programs in accordance with the stated purpose of the Agency. The Clinical Director shall ensure that the educational and ethical needs of the agency are being met, adhered to and consistent with the agency's vision, mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

-Work collaboratively with the leadership team as well as with outside agencies, organizations, and partners.

-Assist the Executive and Program Directors in preparing grant funding proposals as needed/appropriate.

-Provide weekly one on one supervision and training to clinical supervisors, ensuring integrity of service, adherence to agency policy and fidelity to program parameters.

-Supervise various programs, contracts and payors within the agency, ensuring adequate staffing, as well as adherence to program rules standards, and parameters.

-Provide oversight for the internship program ensuring quality of standards in the selection, training, and monitoring of student interns.

-Manage waitlist by assigning cases to therapists through a careful and thoughtful matching process that takes into consideration the client's needs and desires, as well as the current caseload and expertise of the therapist. All intakes and case assignments are to be handled in an efficient and expedient manner as per policy.

-Provide direct service to clients (small caseload).

-Participate in staff interviews and selection.

-Provide annual evaluations to supervisees.

-Provide oversight and coordination for Yasi/Ecornerstone

-Identify insufficiencies in team skill set as well as desired trainings by the team and develop yearly educational goals for the agency. Plan, coordinate and arrange for subsequent trainings.

-Conduct weekly team staffing meetings as well as small group supervision and learning initiatives.

-Assist with program development, in alignment with area needs and agency mission and vision.

-Provide ongoing quality assurance of all therapeutic files, ensuring alignment with program rules and parameters as well as agency policy.

-Participate in the billing process by ensuring correct information goes in and out, as well as fiduciary oversight.

-Oversee therapist credentialing.

-Present to outside groups / agencies on identified topics.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.

- At least 5 years experience as a therapist/counselor.

- Prior experience supervising other clinical therapists/couselors.

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
