Title: Client Success Manager
Department: Advertising (Display and Classified)
Reports to: Director of Advertising Operations
Position Location: Hybrid position based in Baton Rouge, LA or New Orleans, LA

General Summary of Position: The Client Success Manager (CSM) is responsible for supporting outside sales representatives by managing key advertising partners’ accounts on a daily basis. This role ensures a smooth transition from sale to execution and reporting. This role coordinates the onboarding and launching of new customers and is responsible for ensuring client deliverables are achieved in accordance with their business goals and objectives.. The CSM is client-facing should display a deep understanding of the clients’ business and vertical and make ongoing strategy recommendations. A successful CSM will increase client retention through strong customer service, sound strategy and marketing consult and detailed client reporting.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Communicate daily with key advertising clients, primarily via email, phone and virtual Microsoft Teams meetings
  • Assists customers by providing information and advice on advertising campaigns and options.
  • Research accounts’ businesses and their business verticals to deeply understand latest marketing trends and other pertinent information needed to consult clients in marketing.
  • Schedule and facilitate onboarding of new customers to ensure campaigns are set up correctly and that client expectations will be met.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives on scheduling of campaigns to ensure maximum ROI
  • Communicate with digital marketing vendor partners to place digital marketing campaigns
  • Create data driven optimizations of campaign strategy.
  • Check to ensure proper delivery of all ads to promote client satisfaction and retention.
  • Create and share ongoing digital campaign reporting for clients.
  • Ensure proper setups of all campaign tracking technologies and code.
  • Meet with partner sales reps weekly to review pending deliverables and overall account health of customers.
  • Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of sales support and/or digital marketing experience
  • Previous experience in a media company and/or marketing agency preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of math, computer, Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.

Skill Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and other basic office programs
  • Interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work with internal and external customers effectively
  • Communication, presentation and organizational skills; talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Strong time management and ability to multi-task
