Job description

SmartLogix is seeking a fully bilingual Senior Release Management Coordinator for a temporary, full-time assignment supporting a client in the healthcare insurance industry.

The selected professional will coordinate software releases, implementation activities, dependencies, documentation, and communication across multiple technical and business teams. This role requires strong organizational, project coordination, release management, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Assignment type: Temporary, full-time, primarily remote
  • Duration: Approximately 12 months
  • Work arrangement: Primarily remote, with onsite attendance required for onboarding, training, or as requested by management.
  • Language requirement: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate software releases, implementation activities, maintenance deployments, emergency fixes, and production changes.
  • Facilitate release planning, readiness assessments, implementation meetings, status reviews, and post-release evaluations.
  • Monitor release schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assess and communicate the potential impact of planned releases to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities among development, QA, infrastructure, support, project management, and business teams.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and issue resolution during release and implementation activities.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute release documentation, implementation schedules, release notes, status reports, and communication materials.
  • Ensure compliance with release management, change management, and governance processes.
  • Track action items and follow up with stakeholders to maintain implementation readiness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for release planning, implementation coordination, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for project and operational initiatives as required.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Release Management, Project Coordination, Implementation Management, or related areas.

Proven experience coordinating software releases, system deployments, or technology implementations involving multiple teams.

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with release planning, change management, implementation coordination, dependency tracking, and risk management.
  • Experience working within structured IT environments that follow formal release and change management processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to support implementation schedules and project requirements throughout the assignment period.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within healthcare, health insurance, managed care, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), change control processes, production support, and application delivery.
  • Familiarity with release governance frameworks, deployment readiness assessments, implementation checklists, and post-release reviews.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar project and release management platforms.
