Client Services Administrator, Trustee Services - Commercial Deposits | Saskatoon, SK

We are seeking a Client Services Administrator, Trustee Services, to join our Commercial Deposits team. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Saskatoon office, located at Innovation Saskatchewan Research and Technology Park on the University of Saskatchewan campus.

This is a varied role within the Bank's Deposit Services team. The successful candidate will support the daily administration and effective delivery of commercial deposit products and services while providing dedicated relationship and operational support for our Trustee Integrated Banking portfolio.

Working closely with the Manager, TIB Services and other members of the Commercial Deposits team, the successful candidate will combine strong client service, attention to detail and sound judgment with the flexibility to respond to evolving operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities?

  • Support the daily administration and delivery of commercial deposit and Trustee Integrated Banking (TIB) products and services.
  • Provide responsive service and ongoing relationship support to trustee clients.
  • Process and monitor banking transactions, including clearing items, wires, EFTs and other payment activities.
  • Review client instructions and transaction documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Perform ongoing account maintenance and support client inquiries and service requests.
  • Identify, investigate and escalate unusual transactions, suspected fraud activity, operational issues and exceptions in accordance with established controls and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with reconciliations, reporting, records management and internal control activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Deposit Services, Compliance, Finance, Information Technology and other internal teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements and take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

What We Look For:

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in banking or financial services; experience in the brokerage, insolvency or trustee services industry would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulatory compliance, AML/ATF requirements, fraud prevention, operational risk controls, wire payment processing, and deposit and cash management products and services.
  • Working knowledge of Payments Canada rules, payment systems, payment fraud trends and related industry practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of commercial clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a client-focused, team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and sound judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI is an asset.
