Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Manager to support and manage the day-to-day operational needs of our client accounts ensuring shipment accuracy and delivering exceptional client service within our fast-growing company.

This is an operations-focused, non-sales position. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and client service. Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills are essential.

The role works closely with internal teams and third-party providers to coordinate logistics, track shipments, maintain accurate ERP records, and ensure all contractual and compliance requirements are met in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new client accounts by ensuring all paperwork is completed and information is accurately entered into the ERP system.
  • Manage day‑to‑day transactions for local, regional, national, and Global client accounts, including supporting international logistics activities.
  • Coordinate logistics when required, confirming pickup details with shippers and communicating specifications to third‑party freight providers and the internal logistics team.
  • Create inbound shipment orders in the ERP system and ensure all contractual requirements are properly documented and communicated to operations.
  • Collaborating with operational team to prevent gaps in processing, escalating issues to the Account Sales Representative when necessary.
  • Review ERP system reports for accuracy by comparing data to contracts, purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Prepare order settlements and compile external reports, including supporting documentation or photos.
  • Send required reporting to the client’s designated contact and address inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to management and clients as requested.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office Suite.
  • Understanding of general administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong professionalism and accountability.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Paladin EnviroTech locations, approximately quarterly, as business needs require.
Education & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, account operations, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, recycling, or a related field.
  • Experience working with client accounts in an operations or service environment preferred.
  • Experience in the recycling, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, or environmental services industry is a plus.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with business coursework preferred.
Background Screening

Candidates selected for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background screening, which may include employment verification and criminal history screening, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the required screening.

Compensation

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
