Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in the automated gate, fencing, barrier, and perimeter access sector. The ideal candidate has a "hunter" mindset, capable of identifying new opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and cultivating long-term relationships with architects, integrators, general contractors, and end-users.


  • Market Expansion & Sales: Identify new business opportunities, prospective clients, and strategic partnerships to expand our customer base.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Conduct daily, proactive prospecting through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate new leads.
  • Client Meetings & Demos: Arrange and lead meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for potential clients.
  • Sales Strategy & Negotiations: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Negotiate contracts and proposals, ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, security designers, property developers, and contractors.
  • Technical Consultation: Collaborate with internal technical teams and engineers to translate customer requirements into tailored solutions, ensuring accuracy in proposals.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes that could affect sales performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of sales or business development experience, specifically within the access control, security systems, or automated gate/door industry.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of perimeter security, access control hardware, and automated systems.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for building rapport with stakeholders.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events (up to 50-70%).
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
