Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for management and coordination of daily activities of the Neumo Tax Administration Client Relations Department. Serves as a liaison with a company’s clients to develop relationships and ensure the client needs are met. Responsible for existing and new clients/services, data analyzation and detailed reporting, and providing follow-up for Clients and Supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Client Relations department with emphasis on maintaining current business as well as continuing development of new services.
  • Manage Client Implementation projects and ensures each project is delivered timely and accurately.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, workflow, and personnel of the Client Relations department.
  • Oversee and manage policies and procedures in order to comply with client requirements.
  • Work with Project Management & IT on system enhancements.
  • Review ordinance/act and become familiar with rates and city/county representatives.
  • Monitor client request list daily. Assist in staff research, resolve and record problems.
  • Ensure month end reports are complete and accurate by the 10th day of the month.
  • Responsible for the transfer of Client funds on designated disbursement days. Develop and improve analytical reports designed to monitor and improve overall client and staff productivity.
  • Update staff on current initiatives and objectives.
  • Coordinate and schedule employee training with outside providers and/or purchase training materials and present internal training to continue employee development.
  • Establish goals and incentive plan for department.
  • Conduct annual employee performance evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in an office environment with heavy inbound/outbound phone experience.
  • Minimum 10 years customer service experience.
  • Minimum 5 years project implementation experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
  • Ability to proofread correspondence, detect and correct errors, read, and interpret city/county tax ordinances.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting/finance principals helpful.
  • Ability to satisfactorily resolve routine situations based on supervisor’s guidance or written or verbal instructions.
  • Must have excellent to intermediate proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Salesforce and Constant Contact experience a plus.


Work Environment:

  • Office setting with a moderate noise level.
  • The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Regular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines.
  • Occasional movement around the office.
  • Frequent communication via telephone.
