Kinsley Construction Client Relations Manager

Kinsley is looking for an experienced Client Relations Manager to join our expanding team at our Hagerstown, MD office. The Client Relations Manager will be responsible for creating and executing a business development/client relations plan focused on specific geographic areas, identifying new opportunities, fostering professional relationships, and collaborating with project teams to effectively promote Kinsley Construction.

The ideal candidate has five (5) or more years of relevant industry experience, strong computer and communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow. Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.

Typical responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Develop, implement and monitor a business development/client relations plan with near, mid and long-term objectives based on Kinsley's core competencies and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain and expand relationships with architects, engineers, developers, consultants, and community stakeholders to promote Kinsley.
  • Take an active approach to identify and develop future construction opportunities with an emphasis on self-performed work.
  • Manage all new leads & opportunities using our CRM system.
  • Identify and coordinate networking events and conferences for business development opportunities.
  • Actively participate in professional organizations and/or non-profit boards to expand network contacts and community involvement.
  • Market Kinsley Construction Divisions throughout the region with emphasis on projects matching the Business Plan's target markets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop marketing materials that differentiate Kinsley's competitive advantages for target-specific and general marketing purposes.
  • Collaborate with Kinsley project team in developing technical proposals and marketing materials for project-specific presentations on specific projects.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in construction or related trades is a plus.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the commercial construction market, specifically in Frederick County MD, Washington County MD, Berkeley County WV, Loudoun County VA, Frederick County VA, Clark County VA, Shenandoah County VA, Warren County VA, Page County VA and Rockingham County VA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial construction in general.
  • Proven success in commercial construction business development required.
  • Motivated to succeed and grow professionally.
  • Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate communication effectively.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to be a team player, flexible, and able to work in fast paced and changing environment.
