The Role
Salary range is:
$106,277 - $175,000
This position is bonus and/or commission eligible.
Reporting to Sales Leadership, the Client Partner is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client relationships for CCC Intelligent Solutions. This is a hands-on, client-facing sales role focused on deepening commercial partnerships, driving account growth, and expanding adoption of CCC's strategic products.
The Client Partner operates as a trusted advisor to clients, balancing relationship management with disciplined sales execution. This role requires the ability to prioritize across a portfolio, identify whitespace, build pipeline, and execute structured sales plays while maintaining a consultative, value-driven approach.
There is flexibility around location for this role. Considerable travel will be required to visit clients and to spend time with the senior leadership team at CCCIS headquarters in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage day-to-day commercial relationships for a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the client portfolio, with a primary emphasis on strategic growth products
  • Develop and execute annual account plans to support consistent year-over-year growth, including whitespace analysis, pipeline development, and disciplined sales execution
  • Build and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline, advancing opportunities through a defined sales process and maintaining accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
  • Partner closely with customer delivery teams to monitor client satisfaction, ensure retention, and drive measurable value realization
  • Represent the voice of the clients internally, sharing feedback to inform product innovation and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with peers and sales leadership to share best practices and contribute to a high-performing sales culture
  • Carry an annual ACV quota and hold accountability for revenue, pipeline, and forecast accuracy

Requirements:
5+ years of experience building and managing client relationships
The candidate must have a proven track record managing commercial relationships with clients, ideally in a SaaS or technology environment. Experience co-creating solutions that solve complex client problems is highly valued.
Demonstrated success growing client accounts
The candidate must have proven experience accelerating growth within existing client accounts, including identifying expansion opportunities, deepening executive relationships, and delivering measurable results.
Demonstrated tech sales competency
The candidate should have experience operating within a defined sales methodology - building pipeline from whitespace, running structured sales plays, managing a forecast, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a SaaS or technology environment. Candidates who have spent their careers in purely relationship or account management roles without these commercial mechanics will find this role challenging.
Experience calling on or working within the insurance industry
A strong understanding of the insurance industry is a significant plus - whether through direct domain expertise or a demonstrated track record successfully selling to or partnering with insurance clients. Familiarity with claims processes and insurance operations is particularly valuable.
Collaborative stakeholder leadership
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who builds trust with clients, peer functions, and internal teams alike. They are skilled at navigating complex organizations and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
CRITICAL LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES
Driving Results

  • Identifies new opportunities within client relationships to extend value and deepen commercial impact
  • Sets ambitious but achievable goals and holds themselves accountable to results

Acting Strategically
  • Develops and executes multi-year account plans aligned to client priorities and CCCIS growth objectives
  • Anticipates changes in the competitive and client landscape and adapts plans accordingly
  • Thinks beyond immediate client needs to identify longer-term opportunities for partnership

Collaborating and Influencing
  • Works effectively across internal teams - including delivery, product, and senior leadership - to mobilize resources for clients
  • Earns the trust of senior client stakeholders through consistent follow-through and deep knowledge of client needs
  • Serves as a credible, proactive voice for the client within the CCCIS organization

IMPORTANT PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • Driven by purpose; acts in alignment with CCCIS values
  • Entrepreneurial, energetic, and motivated by building lasting client relationships
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and a bias toward action
  • Insight-led and comfortable creating constructive tension - challenges client thinking, tailors messages to stakeholders, and confidently takes control to drive better outcomes
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
  • Personally humble and collaborative, with genuine pride in team and client success
