Job Summary:Accountable for the overall success of Jones Lang LaSalle Critical Engineering Management (CEM) services for the JPMC account. Will oversee the implementation of all CEM processess and procedures to ensure portfolio wide compliance. Responsible for interpreting, communicating, and establishing engineering services and critical environments management strategies for supporting the JPMC account. Ensures the integration of all services and that they are delivered within agreed service levels. Provides oversight in all processes, field execution, including use of the corporate network and all platform tools, promoting and fostering relationships while serving as the key engineering services liaison for the client. Own local client relationships, implementation of services and financial success of the assigned portfolio in accordance with JPMC Corporation policies, procedures and standards. Ensures all resources, i.e. human, financial etc., are managed within the policies and procedures of Jones Lang LaSalle. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support account in exceeding annual Key Performance Measurement (KPI) targets by organizing objectives, measuring and reporting progress in a timely manner.
  • All client engineering services management activities, which include maintaining interface with Corporate Real Estate personnel, ensuring total contract compliance with all criteria and reaching all performance specifications, including qualitative customer service specifications.
  • Quarterly performance reviews between Corporate Real Estate and Jones Lang Lasalle as outlined in contract
  • Ensure fixed, variable, and incentive compensation under the contract are achieved relative to Corporate Real Estate Performance Plan and other objectives; annual KPI and incentive compensation determination and contract amendments
  • Successful financial performance of the account; operational and financial goals, capital and operating budgets
  • All applicable HR operations, staffing and employee development.
  • Review regional metrics and compare against account wide metrics through the use of analytics or other tools provided by JPMC and Jones Lang Lasalle to ensure that the portfolio is being managed within goal parameters.
  • Measure, monitor and report to Account Leaders cost savings and value add contributions of the team.
  • Provide input and support to strategic planning initiatives and work with Critical Environments Director to identify portfolio and saving reduction opportunities.
  • Provide input and justification to annual operating plan for assigned locations.
  • Participate in regional planning team to develop portfolio strategies.
  • Oversees the timely and accurate implementation of strategic plans.
  • Represent Corporate Real Estate at the regional level, developing and fostering regional client relationships as appropriate
  • Assists clients to understand corporate initiatives and communicate in collaboration with the director approved service levels within portfolio.
  • Interfaces, collaborates and develops strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and timely updates to all JPMC and Jones Lang Lasalle systems support tools.
  • Support process owners and platform leaders with the implementation of training, educations and expectations to ensure teams adhere to all processes and procedures.
  • Provides regional input to annual financial plans and manages capital within approved plans/budgets while summarizing and sponsoring forecasted or unforeseen expenditures throughout the year.
  • Reduce expenses by managing down associated operating costs with set PM Frequencies / standards while sustaining uptime integrity and minimize agreeable risk.
  • Provide input and justification to multi-year capital infrastructure plan for assigned geography.
  • Provide oversite and direction of development and approval of critical infrastructure project, planning guidelines, commissioning, and close-out. Work with key stakeholders to ensure compliance as related to proper closeout and commissioning requirements are being followed including the collections and archiving of all necessary critical documents. Ensure that key stakeholders are properly maintaining archives of drawings, schematics, equipment operations manuals, warranty documents and other critical information.
  • Review and maintain the completeness of all Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and ensure the teams are in place to support the program inclusive of call trees and contact information. Periodic testing to be completed.
  • Effectively manage communications across regions/geographies between team and customer contacts, particularly in instances of critical emergencies (i.e. system failure, downtime; as frequent as weekly), including managing root cause analysis to avoid repeat failures or lapses in service delivery.
  • Provide situation status updates, as required, to the Critical Environments Director, key customer stakeholders and suppliers to ensure effective application of resources to minimize equipment failures and maximize equipment reliability and up-time.
  • Ensure all properties are operated, maintained and tested in accordancy with local, state and national requirements overlayed by those required and expected of JPMC Corporation Account, ie, critical processes and reporting requirements.
  • Establish annual audit schedules for both customer and Jones Lang LaSalle Operations audits, ensuring that all audits are 100% completed each year and that record are posted as directed.
  • Collaborate with account team members and supplier key Points of Contact to meet annual KPIs objectives and agreed service levels. Oversee that suppliers meet or exceed KPI for client incident impacts. Always focusing on maintaining a goal of 100% Critical Facility Uptime.
  • Assist Account Managers in the development of succession planning program, including, but not limited to, on / off boarding program administered that supports account rotation, employee exiting, and new employees.
  • Available 24/7/365 in support of the customer's critical environment.
  • Perform additional job duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years operational experience with responsibility for leading teams in a critical environment, including 5+ years experience in Data Center services.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing people and customers.
  • Strong oral and written communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong strategic thinker and planner. Ability to develop and create alternative ways to proceed way forward.
  • Strong analytical ability to think about all the factors that might affect a situation, recommend and execute solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, complements abilities, i.e. how resources can be arranged for maximum productivity.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving and crisis management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Fundamental skills in critical systems such as emergency/stand-by generators, automatic transfer switches, un-interruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power distribution systems, UPS batteries, etc.
  • Technically proficient in operations of Building Management Systems, Life Safety Systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office, Power Point, Visio and Microsoft Outlook software.
  • Extensive electrical, mechanical & plumbing knowledge of commercial facilities with a very strong background in critical data center operations.
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical experience and training is required.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Global or National or Regional experience strongly preferred.

Estimated compensation for this position:

175,000.00 - 195,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
