Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Vision & Market Strategy

  • Define and articulate the North American technology vision aligned with Atos's global roadmap and growth objectives.
  • Act as the chief evangelist for Atos's strategy across cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, data platforms, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Continuously assess emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor positioning in the U.S. and Canadian markets to shape differentiated offerings.
  • Translate technology strategy into clear value propositions that resonate with business and executive stakeholders.

  • Promote adoption of AI, data, automation, and cloud-native approaches as business enablers rather than technical implementations.
  • Position Atos as a technology thought leader in regulated and complex industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and public sector.

3. Sales Enablement & Pre-Sales Leadership

  • Partner closely with sales, account teams, and marketing to support strategic pursuits, large deals, and competitive bids.
  • Lead executive-level technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and value-based solution narratives with C-suite clients.
  • Enable sales teams with clear messaging, architectures, and differentiators that accelerate pipeline conversion and deal velocity.
  • Work closely with Solution Directors to support the development of repeatable solution frameworks, reference architectures, and industry-specific technology narratives.
  • Participate in Industry Forums to establish and foster new relationship with prospective clients and enhance relationships with technology partners.

4. Client, Ecosystem & Partner Engagement

  • Serve as a senior technology ambassador for Atos North America in client meetings, executive briefings, and advisory councils.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and key technology partners.
  • Represent Atos at industry forums, technology conferences, analyst briefings, and ecosystem events.
  • Collaborate with partners on joint go-to-market strategies, co-innovation initiatives, and shared thought leadership.

5. Security, Trust & Compliance Advocacy

  • Evangelize security-by-design, resilience, and compliance as core components of Atos's technology value proposition.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on regulatory and compliance considerations such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI, and SOC2 in client discussions.

  • Build credibility and influence across regional and global technology communities within Atos.
  • Mentor senior architects and technical leaders in client-facing, advisory, and Pre-sales roles.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric thinking aligned with Atos's values.
  • Act as a role model for inclusive leadership and technical excellence in market-facing engagements.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • 15+ years of senior technology leadership experience in global IT services, consulting, cloud, or enterprise technology organizations.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms, AI/ML, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation.
  • Strong experience in client-facing, pre-sales, and advisory roles, influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex technologies as business outcomes and competitive advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for executive and public forums.

Preferred

  • Experience working with regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of North American regulatory and compliance landscapes.
  • Prior experience as a CTO, Chief Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or senior technology evangelist.
  • Experience supporting large-scale strategic deals and transformational sales pursuits.

Success Indicators - First 12 Months

  • A clearly articulated and widely adopted North America technology vision in alignment with the Group CTO's holistic strategy for Atos that supports revenue growth.

  • Stronger alignment between sales, partners, and global innovation teams.
  • Expanded ecosystem influence and co-selling opportunities with Hyperscalers and technology partners.
