Collaborating closely with the Strategic Client Executive (SCE), the CSC helps clients achieve targeted outcomes while maximizing revenue and value for Zelis. As the subject matter expert (SME) for designated business units, the CSC drives product utilization, adoption, and growth, and acts as the primary contact for solution-specific escalations, performance management, and value demonstration, ensuring high levels of client engagement and satisfaction. This role manages a broader portfolio of small to medium clients, typically less complex within their business segment vertical and generating moderate to lower revenue for Zelis.

What you'll do:

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for business unit interactions with the client, coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and respond effectively to client requests.
  • Oversee client expectations, manage communications, and handle escalations related to contracted solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor progress toward mutually established goals, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and success metrics.
  • Maintain and update client information by performing essential client management activities, including CRM updates, JIRA tracking, reporting, and processing contract or addendum requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client issues and deliver high-quality service, reinforcing a positive client experience.

Product Utilization, Value Demonstration, and Growth

  • Connect client business needs to Zelis solutions, leveraging data-driven insights to drive utilization and adoption of assigned products, optimize and grow client engagement, support business growth, and maximize client value.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to optimize client utilization and value realization, including cross-selling and enhancing existing solutions based on client needs.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at increasing revenue growth and showcasing the value of Zelis solutions.
  • Own and deliver the business unit's portion of client business reviews by providing product insights, performance recommendations, and best practice guidance.
  • Develop and present data-driven insights that demonstrate the value and opportunities for clients, clearly articulating the benefits received and areas for improvement through analytics.

Strategic Account Planning and Collaboration

  • Partner with the SCE to deliver a seamless client experience, align on account strategy, and conduct business reviews.
  • Execute BU-specific client strategies and account plans in partnership with the SCE.
  • Proactively identify and support new business opportunities—including upselling and cross-selling—by recognizing client needs and seamlessly transitioning qualified leads to the Sales team as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Client Services, Implementation) to deliver on client commitments.

Performance and Risk Management

  • Advise clients on and monitor revenue and performance metrics for assigned business units against best practices, benchmarks, and revenue plans; investigate any underperformance and develop recovery plans as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual SLAs and operational performance metrics.
  • Own assessment and mitigation of solution-specific risks and escalations.

What you'll bring to Zelis:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Suite products

  • Comprehensive understanding of client pain points, business processes, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
