Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Day Porter is responsible for assisting clients with daily facility duties during normal business hours.  Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the Day Porter is responsible for cleaning, maintaining and sanitizing client facilities according to the cleaning specifications for each building. Daily tasks include but are not limited to; cleaning entryways and public areas, trash removal, dusting, cleaning and restocking supplies in restrooms, break rooms and coffee centers, and lobby maintenance. The Day Porter position places you front and center with our clients. Being able to communicate effectively, clearly and with a positive attitude with different personalities and manage your time well is essential to your success in this position.        

  • Lobby maintenance
  • Cleaning common areas like kitchens, cafeterias and patios
  • Regularly clean and disinfect touch points and high touched surfaces
  • Monitoring and servicing restrooms
  • Removing trash and debris
  • Restroom Restocking
  • Perform daily checks of conference rooms checking for chair alignments, replenishment of markers, and cable management
  • Stock and replenish items in the kitchen and conference rooms
  • Accountable for responding to all service related calls that include: service work orders, spills, floods, door access issues, emergency clean ups.
  • Openly communicate at all levels with the client, manager and employees, serving as primary contact for all client/customer-relations issues, and concerns.
  • Perform daily site inspections and completed checklists reporting.
  • Manage inventory and supplies.
  • Make sure machines and equipment are clean and working properly.
  • Perform other duties as requested or required by management or client manager.
Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have smart cell phone with email, data, and GPS location available.
