Purpose of Your Work:

As an Implementation Manager within Managed Services, you will lead complex customer onboarding projects from intake through go-live and stabilization, driving execution, alignment, and follow-through across internal and external teams. You will act as a tactical, customer-facing project manager, working closely with customers and internal delivery teams to manage requirements, timelines, issues, and stakeholder alignment across a large, matrixed project team.

  • Lead projects through planning, execution, cutover, and closure using a structured project management approach.
  • Manage deliverables across both customer and internal functional partners.
  • Ensure projects follow defined process and governance standards, including clear ownership, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Own functional requirements that are clearly documented, comprehensive, and traceable through implementation.
  • Analyze project priorities, risks, and requirements and make appropriate recommendations for action.
  • Set internal team expectations and provide regular progress updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issue urgency to leadership in a clear and timely manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external customers on onboarding and implementation projects.
  • Support client communication through weekly status updates, issue resolution, and ongoing knowledge sharing.
  • Lead leadership-level SteerCo meetings, gaining exposure to senior decision-makers while shaping onboarding priorities, surfacing risks, and driving alignment across a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Influence and coordinate up to 10 internal teams, driving collaboration and accountability to keep onboarding milestones moving and deliver on customer commitments.
  • Track a high volume of actions, dependencies, and follow-ups across multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans and timelines that balance speed-to-market with quality, readiness, and operational impact.
  • Support problem resolution by documenting issues, coordinating stakeholders, tracking actions, and following through to closure.
  • Contribute insights to improve and standardize business processes that enhance customer service, internal reporting, information flow, and organizational planning.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous customer and internal initiatives across tactical and enterprise-level work.
  • Present complex information to leadership in a concise, organized, and data-driven way using PowerPoint, Excel, or other presentation formats.
  • Foster urgency, accountability, and collaboration in alignment with Redwood company values.

You’ve Got This?

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, transportation, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of as a project manager or business analyst, preferably on implementation or client onboarding projects.
  • 2+ years of logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, or managed services experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects through process, governance, requirements gathering, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and follow-through across multiple teams.
  • Managed transportation experience across variable modes such as TL, LTL, and Parcel strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to system integrations, operational design, or technology-enabled implementation work strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills required.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex and detailed information clearly and concisely to customers and leadership.
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly.
  • Adaptable, self-starting, and able to work effectively and take initiative in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across Redwood teams at all levels.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time and hybrid Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage. This position requires onsite presence 50% of the week.

Compensation Range:

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $100,000

This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.

The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
