Job Summary:

The Sr. Project Manager of Client Services serves as a key leader in managing strategic client relationships through proactive communication, project execution, and service delivery excellence. This individual will act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned client engagements, coordinating internal resources, driving project milestones, and ensuring a consistently high-quality client experience.

Successful candidates will possess strong project management experience, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage demanding, high-visibility client engagements in a fast-paced environment. This role supports large-scale legal services programs with significant visibility and requires strong judgment, responsiveness, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary liaison with key client representatives and owns the service delivery relationship for assigned projects.
  • Drives overall client satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and coordination of client deliverables.
  • Builds trusted relationships with clients by understanding business objectives, anticipating needs, and providing consultative guidance.
  • Coordinates internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of project deliverables.
  • Establishes project plans, timelines, milestones, and workstreams while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Ensures client requirements are met with the highest level of quality, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Provides regular project status updates, reporting, and strategic recommendations to clients and internal leadership.
  • Manages project budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Partners across operations, technology, legal services, and leadership teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Proactively addresses client concerns and escalates issues appropriately when necessary.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and project records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrates leadership and accountability while driving projects to successful completion.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and advocate for client success.
  • Supports team development through coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and best practice leadership.
  • Assists leadership with resource planning, workload balancing, and project staffing decisions.
  • Participates in organizational initiatives focused on service delivery excellence, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, communication practices, and client outcomes.
  • Contributes to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in legal services, professional services, consulting, client services, claims administration, litigation support, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to manage high-touch client relationships and successfully navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills, including proactive expectation management and consultative problem solving.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple business functions to achieve project goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm under pressure while managing demanding client situations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Experience working with law firms, attorneys, legal departments, mass tort administration, class action administration, legal operations, or professional services organizations is preferred.
  • Advanced degree, PMP certification, JD, MBA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.

The Compensation range for this role is $105,000 to $115,000 USD annually and may be eligible for a 10% annual bonus.
