Job description

UMB's Specialty Corporate Trust team offers a variety of trust services to the structure finance world for aviation, rail and real estate. We work with customers based all across the world to onboard their business and administer the trust transactions. Our team supports UMB by bringing in direct revenue to the bank in the way of fee revenue and interest income. We offer a niche product and service offering and our team is known around the world as one of a few specialty trust departments that can onboard and administer this unique group of products.
The SCT Aviation Associate Relationship Manager role supports the Specialty Corporate Trust team by partnering with the Relationship Managers on client support, including new account set-up, account updates, client invoicing, document control, and administrative support.
Working in the Specialty Corporate Trust group can be fun and exciting. It is often fast paced and has monthly deadlines that we rally around. It is an environment where the associates take pride in their work, support each other, provide the resources needed to succeed, and always work as a team. Our team has a strong background in the industry and many associates have 10-30 years of experience working these types of deals. We are always happy to share their knowledge and help those around them grow!
How you'll spend your time:
  • You will process large volume of money movement in formats such as such as ACH, Wire and Swift/ISO.
  • You will supports Relationship Management with managing a book of business for a defined set of clients.
  • You will build and maintain accurate excel workbooks to maintain financial loan schedules.
  • You will use your customer service skills to communicates with high profile clients located worldwide surrounding trust related matters.
  • You will perform daily account reconciliation to ensure trust portfolios are balanced in accordance with trust documents.
