Position Summary:
Do you enjoy working financial project management? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with a specialized group to help determine an organization's financial performance, staffing efficiencies and optimize client communications? Then our Client Operations & LPM Analyst opening might be just the position for you! This role is perfect for the individual who is looking to contribute to new business opportunities by advising on past client/matter experience and providing analytical support.
The Client Operations & LPM Analyst works closely with the Senior Legal Project Manager as well as our pricing and analysis professionals to optimize client communications, staffing efficiencies and financial performance. This litigation-focused position will assist with recommending and implementing process improvements and risk assessments; educating and training attorneys and their support staff about LPM and other best practices; and enhancing knowledge management. The Client Operations & LPM Analyst has significant interaction with attorneys and clients in connection with proactive communication and administration of high-stakes matters and portfolios of representation. This role will assist in tracking matters from inception to close - promoting effective outcomes and budget adherence. In addition, the Client Operations & LPM Analyst will contribute to new business opportunities by advising on past client/matter experience and providing analytical support. This position requires continued learning by keeping pace with developments in the legal industry related to legal project management technologies and best practices.
Essential Functions:
  1. With oversight from the Senior Legal Project Manager, works with responsible attorneys to develop matter scopes, budgets, timelines, and appropriate internal and external status updates.
  2. Assists with the management of large accounts or matters with complex variables and budgets.
  3. Collects and organizes account and matter data; facilitate knowledge-sharing among attorneys, clients and professional staff; and communicate progress, shifts to timelines or budgets, and any recommended adjustments to key stakeholders.
  4. Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of legal project management tools, resources and technologies, and facilitate adoption by attorney teams to enhance efficiencies. These tools include software applications, a repository of LPM templates, internal team checklists, databases, workflows, and custom reports.
  5. Identifies, prioritizes and executes process improvement projects.
  6. Quantifies and records risks in projects. Recommend mitigation strategies.
  7. Researches historical matters and prepare analysis to inform and compare budget proposals. Build a database of quantitative and qualitative data related to historical matters/budgets to enhance future pricing accuracy.
  8. Documents and maintains detailed records of procedures, assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information used in analysis.
  9. Continually works to improve and ensure quality and accuracy of work product.
  10. Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:
The Client Operations & LPM Analyst will bring a strong blend of business and legal acumen, holding a bachelor's degree-preferably in accounting, finance, or management-and at least two years of litigation-focused legal project management experience within a law firm or corporate legal department. This individual combines analytical precision with strategic thinking, using advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and a working knowledge of Power BI to transform complex data into actionable insights. Experience with SharePoint, SQL, or database management is a plus. A deep understanding of corporate finance, budgeting, and legal operations supports their ability to connect metrics with meaningful business outcomes. Highly organized and detail-oriented, this professional thrives in fast-paced environments, meeting shifting deadlines with creativity and composure. The salary range for this position is $100K to $141K.
