Position Summary

The Accounting Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the accounting and finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial operations. This role supports daily accounting processes, maintains financial documentation, and assists with data entry, reporting, and coordination activities. The Accounting Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth department operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
  • Assist with data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain organized financial records, files, and documentation for audits and reporting.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including report preparation and document collection.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding invoices, payments, and documentation.
  • Prepare routine accounting reports and spreadsheets as assigned.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
  • Other duties as assigned
