Job Summary

The Classroom Aide supports the classroom teacher in providing a safe, respectful, and faith-centered learning environment. The aide assists with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision while reinforcing Catholic values and the mission of the school.

Job Responsibilities
1. Classroom Support
  • Assist the teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson implementation
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Help prepare instructional materials, classroom displays, and learning stations
  • Support students with assignments, organization, and classroom routines
2. Student Supervision & Behavior Support
  • Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, playground, cafeteria, and during transitions
  • Help maintain a positive, respectful, and orderly classroom environment
  • Reinforce classroom rules and behavior expectations set by the teacher
  • Provide guidance and support to students as needed
3. Faith Integration
  • Model Catholic values such as respect, kindness, and service
  • Support prayer, liturgical activities, and faith-based classroom practices
  • Encourage students to demonstrate Christian behavior in daily interactions
  • Assist in fostering a faith-filled classroom atmosphere
4. Administrative & Clerical Support
