The Program and Development Coordinator for the Public Reading of Scripture (PRS) serves as a vital engine behind one of the CC Foundation's most meaningful ministries, bringing people together through the Word of God. You'll bring your natural enthusiasm and relational energy to everything from grant coordination and event logistics to promotions and testimonial collection - all while keeping the behind-the-scenes details organized and running smoothly. This is a part-time, remote contract opportunity for someone who wants to pour their gifts into mission-driven work that reaches families and communities across the country.

Pay Rate: $24,000-$30,000 paid as a monthly contract fee over 12 months

Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Alignment with the mission, values, and faith commitments of The Classical Conversations Foundation
  • Preferred: Experience in program coordination, nonprofit administration, or ministry support
  • Preferred: Familiarity with event coordination or logistics
  • Preferred: Experience supporting communications or social media content

You'll Achieve:
  • PRS Program Coordination: Serve as the operational hub for the Public Reading of Scripture program - managing marketing, scheduling, logistics, reporting, and event follow-up so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Grant Administration Excellence: Own the full lifecycle of mission trip grant applications, from intake and tracking through communication with applicants and timely documentation of awards for both domestic and international recipients
  • Event Execution: Support the planning and hands-on execution of live PRS events and leadership training gatherings, including logistics, meals, materials, and attendee coordination that leave participants feeling genuinely cared for
  • Compelling Storytelling: Collect, organize, and coordinate PRS and mission trip testimonials that amplify the impact of the Foundation's work and inspire continued participation
  • Community Presence: Help maintain a consistent, engaging PRS voice across social media platforms and coordinate promotional materials that connect people to the mission
  • Fund Development Support: Assist in planning and executing fundraising and celebration events that grow the Foundation's capacity to sustain and expand PRS programming
  • Faithful Stewardship: Track program activity, assist with expense reporting within approved budgets, and provide reliable administrative support that reflects the Foundation's commitment to responsible stewardship
  • Program Growth: Support the development and expansion of PRS program options and related initiatives as the Foundation moves from sustainability to intentional development

Work Environment

This is a remote position with a flexible schedule of approximately 20 hours per week. Some time-sensitive responsibilities require reliable availability during standard business hours. Occasional evening or weekend availability is expected for live events and gatherings. Periodic travel required.
