Job Description
TOWER FOREMAN
Job Summary:
The Tower Foreman will be responsible for the safety of the crew and carrying out the activities to finish the job and maintain professional contact with the Project Managers, Customer and other personnel involved.
Job Duties:
  • Safety, Development, Completion of work, and Quality of work with the crew
  • Accurately complete travel and expense reports and timesheets weekly
  • Organize, track and maintain all customer and company assets
  • Must be comfortable working at heights
  • Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunication tower maintenance
  • Able to travel out of state
  • Perform all daily site safety analysis meetings, PPE and safety/equipment inspections
  • Proper use of all safety equipment and adherence to all safety procedures with the crew
  • Adherence to OSHA/NATE/customer and industry standards and quality
  • Perform all work efficiently and effectively while observing safety and quality requirements
  • Maintain safety records/certifications as required
  • Professional customer and co-worker interaction
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Valid Driver's License and able to pass insurance driving background check

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of tower construction
  • Proven experience as a construction foreman/tower experience
  • Comtrain certification
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
  • Understanding of electrical, RF, and antennas
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • High school diploma or diploma in skilled trade
  • Able to work on the road for 4-6 weeks at a time

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to climb; stand; walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
