problem-solving skills grounded in the classical teachings of Greek education and language. This approach trains students to use the Socratic Method and inquiry

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Attends PLC meetings to provide professional development on curricular initiatives; provide instructional support to teams, especially in middle/high school departments.
  2. Support and monitor creation and implementation of Scope and Sequence unit plans, RTI/data conversations and day-to-day lesson planning
  3. Coordinate and oversee RTI curriculum, assessment, and placement for whole school planning purposes
  4. Work with school leadership to improve individual teacher/staff competencies; serves as an instructional coach for teachers/staff members
  5. Work with Curriculum Coordinator to support mentoring programs
  6. Additional duties, as assigned by Head of School

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
  2. Minimum of 5 years demonstrated successful experience in K-12 classroom
  3. Ability to work autonomously, accept feedback, and collaborate with varied constituents
  4. Experience in developing curricular initiatives and coaching
  5. Background in instructional technology, preferred
  6. Experience in secondary education, preferred
