Job description

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member in our Fire TV Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to join one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. You will own the P&L and deliver valued insights to senior leadership

The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self starter with strong modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
-Owning the P&L end-to-end, driving financial reporting/controllership activities and generating insights for senior leadership
-Directing the full financial planning process, engaging with business and finance stakeholders to deliver comprehensive forward-looking views of the business
-Developing financial models to quickly prove out new product and/or business development deal proposals
-Developing success metrics, dynamic scenario models, and core financial insights to drive decision-making with business partners

Fire TV Finance sits within Amazon Devices & Services Finance, which more broadly supports our Amazon Devices & Services businesses such as Echo/Alexa, Fire TV, Ring, eReaders, and Tablets

The team covers the entire lifecycle including product roadmaps and designs, contract manufacturing oversight, forward and reverse logistics, and marketing and sales. They work in a global matrix environment with finance teams supporting product management and sales structured around product families, hardware, software and Alexa development, supply chain and operations as well as geographical support for North America, Europe, Japan, China, Brazil, Australia, and India.
