Structural / Civil Engineering Manager - Salem, Ohio - JOB 26-00433 Salary Range: $100K - $150K Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits Salem, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Structural/Civil Engineering Manager with strong technical knowledge and exceptional leadership / communication skills to lead a team of engineers, manage projects and timelines, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing consistent guidance, feedback, and professional support Partner with product managers, designers, and cross-functional departments to define project scopes, priorities, and timelines Manage the execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to high-quality standards Conduct regular performance reviews and foster the professional growth of your direct reports Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and technical practices. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top-tier engineering talent Serve as the "go-to " technical advisor for the team, troubleshooting complex structural or civil challenges 5+ years of proven experience in engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position Strong project management and organizational abilities; experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
