Join Northeast Ohio Medical University's (NEOMED) College of Pharmacy
NEOMED is a mission-driven, community-based medical university committed to educating health professionals, advancing discovery, and improving the health of our region. We are seeking a Project Manager who wants to contribute to meaningful work in a collaborative academic environment.
This position will support the management of projects in the College of Pharmacy's Office of Student Success. This will include student-focused initiatives that come from strategic planning, task force / committee recommendations, and accreditation requirements. The position will support various programs in the Office of Student Success including the student advising program and the academic student success program.

Starting Salary Range: $55,259 - $63,486, commensurate with experience

Summary
Position manages the communications, planning, implementation, review, assessment, and promotion of projects related to the department or division. This position interacts internally and externally to provide operational implementation of program objectives.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Project Management: Manage the short and long-term organizational goals of projects in accordance with the overall workplan. Maintain, configure, and analyze confidential, complex information and/or reports such as: financial/academic databases, special correspondence, publications, project status information and reports. Provide project management and support to project leads and teams. Design/develop or assist with design/development of new program(s) and or project(s). Includes leading project teams and providing guidance to team members. Collaborate with shared University units as they relate to project objectives.
Communication Serve as a liaison between University and partner collaborators in support of key project activities. Manage project communications with key stakeholders. Must be able to communicate with all levels across the organization, including higher education and health care professionals and executives.
Budget and Financial: Assist in the development of a budget and the operational plans for selected programs. Provides fiscal planning and oversight: submits requests, monitors expenses and resource allocation for project budgets. Track expenditures, reconcile P-cards, and develop financial reports as applicable.
Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum one-year related work experience in project support role with responsibilities for project management, communications, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in project management, project management certification, or master's degree
  • Experience in higher education, clinical setting, or project management
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
