Job description

Position Title: Maintenance Process Manager (T4)

Role

Supports operations by ensuring proper care of facilities by managing outsourced work, resolving maintenance related items, and addressing site issues in accordance with appropriate budget, standards, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review tickets as they are generated and ensure they are opened and categorized/triaged accurately.
  • Effectively manage maintenance tickets on assigned facilities to ensure proper resolution in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures, rules, regulations, and budget.
  • Ensure all tickets are properly triaged for resolution; prioritize issues with Manager of Maintenance Operations, field technicians, customers, jurisdictions, landlords, and other cross-functional departments as required (develop appropriate recurring maintenance and site-specific issue resolution schedules).
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that all maintenance and other issues requiring immediate action are promptly and effectively resolved.
  • Create maintenance and repair scope and schedule of work documents; bid and award projects in accordance with competitive bid policy.
  • Work closely with contractors, suppliers, field technicians, and cross-functional support to ensure project timelines and budgets are effectively managed.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on all inspection and maintenance activities specific to cost, scope, and resolution schedule, including preparation of financial guidance in coordination with Manager of Maintenance Operations
  • Work with various internal departments to comply with companywide initiatives that maintain the structural integrity and safety of Crown Castle facilities, which includes but are not limited to concealment/stealthing, guy anchor inspections, and safety climb system repair/replacement.
  • Provide resource support (contractors, materials, and equipment) making sure they are available, and cost effective for use in, maintenance work, disaster recovery or other related work at Crown Castle facilities.
  • Support other cross-functional departments within Crown Castle with special projects and requests.

Education/Certifications/Licensure

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree, two year technical degree or equivalent military/special electronics training experience strongly preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) or more years of field operations experience working with site maintenance and repair including general conditions, vegetation, access roads, tower lighting systems or similar systems as well as general office administrative experience and solid financial acumen.

Expectations

  • Field operations experience managing or maintaining tower sites
  • Knowledge in tower construction
  • Experienced with MS Excel and other off-the-shelf computer software programs
  • Ability to understand and analyze basic financial reports
  • Ability to read and understand surveys, construction drawings and technical schematics
  • Effective communications skills required
  • Ability to lead and influence others

Work Plan: To optimize collaboration, relationship building, and key stakeholder engagement, this role aligns to a 4:1 hybrid model which is in office Monday-Thursday with the option for remote work on Fridays.

Compensation
The pay range offered for this position is $40.87 - $56.20 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
