Description Bayfield County appoints numerous citizen committee members to various committees including, but not limited to the following: Human Services Board, Health Board, Aquatic Invasive Species Committee, Land & Water Conservation Committee, Industrial Development Agency, Ethics Board, Library Committee, Planning & Zoning Board of Adjustment, Land Council, Criminal Justice Stakeholders Council, Fair Committee, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Veteran's Relief Board, WISCOM County Traffic Safety Commission, Truancy Advisory Committee Examples of Duties Serve as citizen member on the designated committee, providing input to the committee on related topics. These committees makes recommendations to the Department or Oversight Board for appropriate action. The number of committee meetings will vary depending upon the committee, some meeting only a couple of times per year, others may meet monthly.

More detailed information on each board/committee may be obtained from the related department, or by contacting the County Administrator or County Clerk offices. Qualifications Qualifications will vary depending upon the committee/department. Applicants should clearly identify the committee they are interested in serving on and should identify relevant work or life experience that relate to the functions of that committee/department.
