What You’ll Do
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical amp; electrical systems (motors, photo eyes, limit switches, E-stops, etc.)
  • Identify and procure parts needed to complete service/maintenance
  • Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after work; secure approvals as needed
  • Document work: complete work orders, customer forms, POs, timecards, and related paperwork accurately and on time
  • Promote services: identify opportunities with existing customers; provide literature and basic proposals
  • Maintain your service vehicle: routine maintenance, inventory/supplies, cleanliness
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for our 24-hour service line
  • Support installations of new or used material handling systems as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Field Service experience (required)
  • Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance on industrial or material handling equipment
  • Electrical experience (220VAC amp; 24VDC) preferred
  • Welding ability a plus
  • Able to work independently and also collaborate with CEI techs, subcontractors, or install crews
  • Comfortable with Windows-based software and using a computer for diagnostics/documentation
  • Clear written communication; paperwork completed on time
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Background check and drug test required
