Medical Records Representative

Onsite - Oakdale, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM EST

Job Summary

As a Medical Records Representative, you play a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and handled with care. Responsibilities

Maintain complete and secure patient medical records to support timely and accurate care delivery.

Partner with internal teams to ensure required patient documentation is signed, processed, and accessible when needed.

Work directly with patients to obtain signatures for consents, courier services, and deliveries.

Review and process patient paperwork, including Assignment of Benefits (AOBs), with strong accuracy and follow-through.

Prepare professional correspondence related to medical record requests, reports, and third-party inquiries.

Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely and accurate distribution.

Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and document management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative, medical records, or healthcare support role.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with patient management or electronic health record systems.

Familiarity with patient consents and healthcare administrative forms.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or clinical support environment.
