Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Support all large format design needs campus-wide.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage workflow of production projects
  • Support Marketing for campus events (all forms of signage for audience experience)
  • Manage canvas framing projects
  • Create and install facilities and directional signage
  • Create and install University displays and exhibits
  • Create and install University fleet graphics (not required)
  • Operate and maintain production equipment
  • Manage quality control of all production projects
  • Interface with customers on graphic production requirements/maintain customer relations
  • Maintain inventory of production-related materials
  • Coordinates all production related projects
  • Oversee project estimating and billing
  • Assist other Marketing operations as needed
  • Assist other University departments as needed
  • Maintain and build relationships with vendors
  • Support all university departments especially enrollment team
  • Works with Director of Marketing on new equipment proposals/purchases and installations
  • Maintains all maintenance and daily use of all large format printers

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated experience in the signage industry
  • Experience with graphic color management
  • Experience with and expertise in digital wide format output systems
  • Knowledge of signage regulations (ADA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage/execute multiple priority projects simultaneously preferred
  • Professional in appearance and presentation
  • Effective in oral and written communication
  • Minimum of 5 years sign industry experience
  • BA or BS preferred, Associate's degree requried
