River City Community Church is seeking a spiritually mature Christian leader to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Pastor. This role provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Pastor, who oversees key ministries of the church and the subsidiary organizations of the Real Life Center. These include River City Community Church, River City Believers Academy, Real Life Community Outreach, and Real Life Center for the Performing Arts.


About Us

River City Community Church was started in 1995 as a small group in the home of Sean and Lauri Azzaro. Today it owns and operates the Real Life Center (110-acre campus with 180,000 square feet of buildings) which includes a thriving Christian church averaging 1,500 people per weekend. The private Christian school serves PreK–12th grade with a current enrollment of 175 students. Real Life Community Outreach oversees a large regional food pantry and vocational training program. Responsibilities & Key Results

  • Provides high-level executive administrative support to the Executive Pastor, including calendar management, scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-up.
  • Manages correspondence, communications, and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Supports ministry operations, special projects, and strategic initiatives across church and subsidiary organizations.
  • Coordinates meetings, events, and ministry activities, ensuring seamless logistics and follow-through.
  • Maintains organized systems for documents, records, and information flow to support efficient decision-making and operations.
  • Collaborates with church staff, ministry leaders, and external partners to advance the mission and goals of the church.
  • Helps prepare reports, presentations, and communications for the Executive Pastor, board, and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced ministry environment.
  • Maintains a positive, servant-hearted attitude while upholding the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.


Qualifications (Recommended)

  • Mature Christian with a clear testimony and alignment with our mission and values.
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar high-level administrative role (church or nonprofit experience preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong relational skills and a heart for ministry and team collaboration.
