Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide one-on-one support to K-8 students in literacy and mathematics. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and achieve academic growth through individualized instruction.
Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one instruction in literacy and math for K-8 students
  • Assess individual student needs and tailor lessons to support skill development
  • Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Build strong, supportive relationships that foster student confidence and engagement
  • Communicate effectively with families and team members
  • Integrate technology tools to enhance learning

Qualifications
  • Born Again Christian walking faithfully with God, has a personal testimony, and lives a consecrated life devoted to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Regularly Attends a Christian Church
  • Experience teaching or tutoring K-8 students in literacy and math
  • Training in Orton-Gillingham and/or Wilson Language approaches, preferred

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of age-appropriate instructional strategies
  • Ability to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Proficiency with technology tools (word processing, Google apps, videoconferencing, etc.)
