Key responsibilities include:
  • Accountability for complete project execution including team leadership, control panel engineering, SCADA design, PLC and HMI programming, and site start-up support of integrated systems.
  • Manage project resources, including people, time and budgets to successfully achieve project goals.
  • Accountable for the automation and controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up.
  • Program, configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI based control systems.
  • Provide direction and oversee the maintenance of programs for PLCs and PCs coordinating with Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Information Technology staff, as well as Production and Maintenance personnel.
  • Develop and execute complex process control system integration projects of small to medium size and significant complexity simultaneously.
  • Lead in the project from design to delivery to the end-users. Tasks include writing the design specification, gathering input and validating the deliverables with all stakeholders, coordinating the integrators for the automation and MES application
  • Perform project deliverables independently while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

About you:
  • Minimum B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical degree.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of related automation experience with MES, HMI, SCADA, PLC's, and general control system design.
  • Experience with digital transformation or MES projects, preferred.
  • Experience with Wonderware (Archestra, Intouch, System Platform, Skelta Workflow, Historian), a plus.
  • You are fluent in English. Other languages, a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial automation systems, including HMI and SCADA systems, Allen-Bradley controls/controllers, Siemens and Schneider PLCs, required.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500) PLCs, PanelView/PanelviewPlus HMIs, Industrial Communication Networks (Ethernet, EthenetI/P, DeviceNet, etc.), required.
  • Experience with FactoryTalk Suite, and VisualBasic/C#/Java, a plus.
