Job description

Piramidal is looking for a backend engineer to help build and scale the infrastructure behind our real time neural monitoring platform. You'll work on hard problems: high throughput streaming, real time analytics, and clinical grade reliability.

In this role you will
  • Build and maintain reliable services that operate on real time streams of neurological data
  • Work on data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and data lifecycle management
  • Develop and extend backend APIs that power clinical workflows
  • Work with machine learning engineers to develop and maintain model pipelines
Your background looks something like
  • 5+ years of backend engineering
  • Strong experience with stream processing or event-driven architectures
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Ability to move fast and independently
Nice to have
  • Experience with data engineering and warehousing at scale
