Title: ChildLine Caseworker (Novice) – On-Site (Harrisburg, PA) Pay rate: $20-$23 an hr Location: On-site — Harrisburg, PA 17110 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week (hours currently listed: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Job Type: Contract to hire Openings: 5 Job Summary A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring ChildLine Caseworkers (Novice) to support Pennsylvania’s mandated child protective services program. In this role, you’ll receive, evaluate, and process reports of suspected child abuse/neglect and refer cases to the appropriate investigative agencies in accordance with the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL). Key Responsibilities Receive phone calls and written referrals from mandated reporters and the public Interview callers, gather sensitive/confidential details, and enter information into a database Determine whether allegations meet CPSL definitions and route reports to the correct agencies (county Children & Youth, OCYF, licensing, law enforcement, etc.) Provide callers with community resources and referrals when appropriate De-escalate emotional/anxious callers to obtain clear, accurate information Research prior reports in the central database and share information with investigative agencies Review completed investigations to ensure documentation meets CPSL reporting requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of experience and training Ability to work on-site in Harrisburg, PA Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of social/economic conditions influencing human behavior Interviewing experience/skills Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Prior experience with child protective services or similar organizations How to Apply Apply today and include your resume.
