Childline counselors often deal with emotionally charged situations, such as responding to children in distress or crisis. This can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming. To support counselors, teams typically have regular debriefing sessions, access to supervisors or mental health professionals, and peer support structures. These resources help counselors process difficult calls and maintain their own well-being while providing high-quality support to children.
