As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a key role in setting the tone for the dining experience. Location: In person required: 3133 N Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Shift: Open, Swing, Closing, Weekends, Holidays
Starting Base Salary: $11.70 per hour plus tip out
Expected Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week (based upon business needs)
Supervisory: Reports to Shift Supervisor, Assist GM, and General Manager

Position Summary:
The Host is responsible for greeting guests with genuine hospitality, managing the waitlist, coordinating seating, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is upbeat, professional, and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression
  • Manage waitlists and seating assignments efficiently
  • Escort guests to tables and provide menus or relevant information
  • Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and lobby area
  • Assist with answering phones, taking to-go orders, and providing general guest support

• Refill water glasses and pre-bus tables to support smooth and efficient service
• Oversee to-go orders, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper packaging
• Process to-go payments promptly and correctly
  • Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Monitor dining room capacity and pacing to support efficient operations
  • Handle guest concerns or requests with professionalism and care
  • Support opening, running, and closing duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous host or customer service experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with POS systems and seating preferred not required
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient during busy shifts
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
