Physician | Employee Wellness Clinic | Corporate Financial Sector
Location:
Chicago, IL 60606.
Job Type:
Independent Contractor, 1099 Contract.
Pay Rate:
$180/hr for onsite patient care, $140/hr for telemedicine lab review.
Schedule:
10/6 Dayshift.

Full Description:
A workplace wellness screening program is seeking an experienced Physician (MD/DO) to provide onsite preventive wellness service within a corporate office environment in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on preventive care and general wellness assessments in a professional business setting, typically seeing up to 20 patients per scheduled clinic date.
Non-clinical administrative coordination and scheduling support are provided, allowing providers to focus fully on patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to practice preventive, personalized medicine in an efficient and supportive environment. Clinic dates are scheduled periodically based on employer wellness programming needs and are not part of a fixed schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare the mobile clinic space within corporate environments to support employee wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct general wellness examinations.
  • Review patient health history and current concerns.
  • Provide preventive care guidance and health education.
  • Refer patients for follow-up care when appropriate.
  • Review lab results via telehealth consultations.
  • Document encounters according to clinical standards.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO, board-certified, with a current active license in Illinois.
  • Active basic life support (BLS/ ACLS) CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience following post graduate training.
  • Background in family practice and preventive care preferred; experience in urgent or emergency care will also be considered.
  • Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
  • Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift to complete electronic charting and documentation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional care standards.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Chicago, IL.
  • Physicians may provide services individually or through their professional corporation or authorized legal entity, subject to applicable licensure requirements.
