Description:  Laboratory Instructor Physical Science Lab E, Tenure Track, 9-Month Contract paid over 12 months.  The position is expected to begin June, 2026.

Position Summary:  The Laboratory Instructor of Physical Science Laboratory E provides instruction to and assesses student learning of students enrolled in chemistry and physics courses. This person prepares and sets up laboratory assignments while ensuring the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials. The laboratory instructor also hires, trains, and supervises student workers and develops and manages the annual chemistry laboratory budget. 
Qualifications:





  • Master's degree in chemistry from an accredited college/university required.
  • Teaching experience at the college level in chemistry preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college.
