Baker Hughes has identified the need for P2R Sales Manager - Downstream Chemicals to represent BKR with executive level management of midstream, refining, and trading organizations across multiple regions to help progress strategic sales initiatives and foster growth with our key partners.

As a Sales Manager Downstream / Midstream Fuel Additives, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans that are aligned with customer's business plan to deliver growth in targeted area
  • Ensuring sales campaigns and strategies are consistent with the overall objectives for the company
  • Proactively identifying and engaging new potential strategic customers
  • Building relationships with key customers at both corporate and regional offices
  • Performing standard portfolio management practices to understand customer
  • Applying or leading the application of innovative ideas and technologies to create a business or organizational advantage
  • Managing customer contracts to maximize profitability while monitoring and evaluating programs and expenditures

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Have 10+ years' experience in refining, midstream chemical sales
  • Have proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line growth
  • Have comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
  • Have comprehensive understanding of company products/applications and services
  • 50% business travel required
  • Have excellent business acumen
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment

Preferred:

  • Have Bachelor's Degree in a Sciences or Engineering field
  • Have 15+ years' experience in refining, midstream chemical sales
  • Have 5+ years of corporate sales experience at the C-suite level
  • Have commercial negotiations experience with large corporate contracts in the downstream or midstream markets
