DESCRIPTION:


A high-volume, chef-driven Tex-Mex restaurant in Atlanta is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead front-of-house operations in one of the city's most energetic, guest-forward concepts. Known for craveable scratch cooking, an electric guest energy, and the operational discipline of a fine-dining house, the restaurant delivers exceptional hospitality at scale. The Assistant General Manager will manage and lead all aspects of restaurant operations in tandem with, or in the absence of, the General Manager, driving the team in service style and philosophy, protecting the guest experience, and owning financial performance, scheduling, and standards on the floor.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Leads floor operations in tandem with the General Manager and oversees the restaurant in their absence.
  • Drives service standards, team performance, and the guest experience every shift.
  • Holds shared responsibility for the restaurant's P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, labor, COGS, and cost control.
  • Recruits, leads, and develops a high-caliber front-of-house team, fostering a culture of accountability and hospitality.
  • Partners with the culinary team to ensure seamless service flow between BOH and FOH.
  • Owns scheduling, training, and performance management across the FOH team.
  • Ensures full compliance with all applicable health, safety, labor, and licensing requirements.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive FOH leadership in high-volume, chef-driven restaurants.
  • Proven track record of operating high-volume venues while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including direct experience with P&L management, budgeting, labor, and cost discipline.
  • Experience with key hospitality systems and platforms, including POS, reservation platforms, and inventory tools.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Calm, composed leadership presence under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
