Summary

As Traveling Chef Manager at American Dining Creations, you will provide account coverage and support at an assigned account location. This includes overseeing daily dining services staff management. In this role you will also be assisting with new account opening activities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned account coverage for dining services including daily meal service, catering events, and service operations.
  • Execute all menus, including daily meal service and catering; modifies the menu based on food trends, costs, patron requests, and seasonal availability.
  • Purchase all food, beverage, and supplies from approved vendors.
  • Complete weekly account reporting, including inventory, to District Manager.
  • Maintain temperature logs and adhere to all local food handling safety regulations.
  • Manage employee work schedules in accordance to labor modules.
  • Interact daily with employees and staff, customers, and clients.
  • May assist with special corporate projects or events.
  • May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Restaurant or Business: or Culinary Degree from an accredited culinary association highly preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar culinary management position that may include retail, hotels, business, or education dining, serving up to 500 customers daily and managing staff of 5 employees (or more).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, CATERTRAX and other online ordering systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible weekly schedule, weekly account travel up to 75%
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Physical requirements include Able to lift to 50lbs, stand, walk, bend for daily work and travel schedule.
