We are seeking a hands-on Jr. Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation as a Wine Spectator award winning concept. Our ideal candidate is a team-player, attentive, motivated, and hard-working who has a heart of service. 
Responsibilities
  • Train and develop team members to company standards
  • Cook on the line according to business demands
  • Day-to-day culinary operations
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
  • Assist Chef accordance with business needs.
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Assist in the development of menu items
  • Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
  • Coordinate scheduling of BOH staff and in admin functions as directed by leadership.
  • Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
 
Qualifications
  • Experience working as a head line cook, sous chef or chef
  • High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
