Job description

Job Title: Dishwasher

 Reports to: Executive/Events Chef/Sous Chef

Exempt/Non-exempt: Non-Exempt

Date Revised: March 2026


JOB OVERVIEW

Dishwashers are expected to run and maintain the dishwashing area, return all washed items to their places, and assist with prep work for meals. Dishwashers will also be asked to bus tables during busy periods.  


DUTIES

Ensure everything brought to the dishwashing area is cleaned and put away

Maintaining a pristine kitchen and dishwashing area through implemented cleaning regiment 

Tables are bussed during busy periods

Care and maintenance of all kitchen equipment

Reports directly to the Executive Chef and Events Chef

Responsible for food safety, handling procedures and cleanliness.

Assist in successful execution of all catering events, from 15 to 175 people


QUALIFICATIONS

1 year work experience desired

Ability to drive a boat a plus

Previous hospitality experience a plus

Ability to multi-task

Ability to problem solve

Ability to handle stressful situations

Food safety certification a plus
