What you will be doing
Operate all equipment to cook cheese.
The position will be based in Denver, CO. The salary is $26.67. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).

Main responsibilities
Cheese Cook-Cheese Making
•Ability to maintain constant communication with fluid processing, assist with start-up and shut down processes.
•Ability to receive batches.
•Partnering with lab on samples and required testing
•Able to solve problems with product flow.
•Complete sanitation tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing all cheese making and cheese care equipment
•Keep the workstation clean and organized
•Follow SOP for Cheese Making. Following established protocols for cheese quality and food safety
•pH adjustment, use of pH meter, moisture analyzer, and other technical equipment
•Record maintaining cheese inventory database
•Able to work and thrive in a production environment
•Maintain equipment, record production details, and manage ingredients
•Follow company safety guidelines and support team efforts, product quality, and process improvements
•Train new team members in cheese production
•Any other job duties requested by foremen/supervision.


Requirements
•Previous dairy experience is preferred but not required.
•Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
•Perform basic math with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
•Stand/ walk almost the entire workday.
