Description

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology for a full-time locum assignment in Clifton Springs, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality dermatologic care in an outpatient setting, with the opportunity to support additional locations within the regional network as needed.


About the facility

This position is based in an acute care hospital setting with a well-established dermatology practice. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a collaborative care model with dedicated clinical staff assisting providers. The role may include occasional float coverage to a nearby dermatology clinic within the same health system.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions
  • Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Manage a daily patient load of approximately 25 to 35 patients
  • Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
  • Provide follow-up care and patient education

Qualifications
  • Active New York Nurse Practitioner license required at time of submission
  • Board Certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent dermatology experience
  • Recent Epic charting experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Clean and up-to-date work history with no unexplained gaps over 30 days

Working Hours
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No call required
  • Duration: 26-week assignment starting July 20, 2026
